How to Save a Life

LONG BEACH, Calif. (May 13, 2008)-- How to Save a Life is a film that is scheduled for filming in June. The movie is about teenage suicide.

The movie is Directed by Jim Britts and Steve Foster. Both are pastor's at New Song Community Chruch in Oceaside, California. Both are film graduates and this is their first movie that they have attempted to put together.

With the help of the church and the community the two have made this project almost complete. They have asked for 100 people to donate $100 dollars and the rest of what needed to be payed for was all donated.

Filming is running early and all casting and back stage have all been hired. The script is almost complete with the minor changes to it.


My Thoughts

This movie is definitely going to be a good one. With the topic of teenage suicide this is sure to be an eye opener for people who don't believe that teenage suicide doesn't exist. Some people are so blind to teenagers being capable of doing this horrific act. I believe teenage suicide is ranked as the 7th leading cause of death.
